Meet Bonnie(HTGAWM) Recap

This episode was really good, I think that ABC over advertised it a little too hard. I liked how we were able to see each character break down.  I didn't think it was possible, but Asher is even more annoying! I cant wait to share my thoughts.

                                                      ******Spoiler's Ahead*******

The Future: We find Bonnie running from the crime scene, presumably after Annalise is shot, but definitely after the murder of the prosecutor. She runs to a car where Asher is waiting for her. They drive to a gas station where Bonnie cleans blood from her shirt, she arrives back at the car to find Asher is missing. He went to the police station to make a statement.

The Present: Asher uncovers that Bonnie killed Sam. Annalise feels as though she is losing control, so she confronts Nate about the secret meetings between him and Wes. Wes and Levi investigate further into Rebecca's murder. The group becomes suspicious of Wes, and they follow him. They uncover that he is working with Levi, the police arrive and arrest Levi for possession of cocaine.  We learn that Bonnie was sexually assaulted by her father.

.

Laurel: She is afraid of being caught for the murder of Sam. She thinks that they are going to jail, and her only logical release for her anxiety is to have sex with Frank. Clearly, there is something wrong with her. Laurel doesn't usually make such bold passes at him. Hmm, well lets see if she gets back to normal next week!

Connor: Connor has gone crazy in this episode. He almost admits to Oliver that he was a part of the Sam Keating murder. He is obviously in shock after the conversation he had with Annalise. She threatened to ruin his life if he ever messed with one of her cases again. This leads him to understand that he is stuck within Annalise's grasp, and he starts drinking heavily. Not only that he has made some smart remarks toward Annalise. Watch Out! This doesn't look good.

Michaela: I felt really bad for her this episode. Her heart has fallen into all of the wrong places. We have her dating the mysterious Levi. She is embarrassingly caught again having phone sex with him. She also is in love with one of the clients. Yikes! Well Michaela, after being engaged to a gay guy, I had really hoped you would have a nice love story. It's not fair that Connor gets to have all of the fun!

Wes:I am really worried about Wes. I feel like he is becoming darker. Slowly, of course because in the beginning, he did stop Levi from his gun threat. I am still curious about Wes's back story. I really want to know how his mother died, but I feel like they're holding on to that story until either a midseason, or season finale.

Asher: Asher is really struggling in this episode. He just found out that Bonnie is a killer, and is caught between protecting his love, and siding with his dad. We see more into Asher's life, and his dad is a total jerk. Although I must admit, he's my least favorite character, he is still MY least favorite character, so I get mad when his dad is a jerk. Asher seems to have this moral compass that is sure to cause trouble this season. He believes in doing what he believes is right, though his views are probably skewed, since he really just wants to please Daddy. I mean, way to ruin my drama filled show with your daddy issues. Well at the same time, he is adding to the drama, so thank you Asher, you are forgiven. You're still annoying.

Bonnie: Bonnie took the high road(ehh...as high as it gets for Bonnie) in the last episode, she took responsibility for the murder of Sam Keaton. This really showed the powerful grip that Annalise has on her. It is almost like she is a highly trained zombie bent on bailing Annalise out of trouble. My question is: WHY? Why does she care so much for Annalise? We also see Bonnie finally break. We see her insecurities rise to their fullest. After Asher leaves her she becomes a wreck. They have been building her character up for this episode. She has messed up while filling in for Annalise in trial, and she has failed in trying to cover up the Sam murder. This just causes her to break. We also learn what it was that Annalise "saved" Bonnie from( "She's Dying")....her childhood. How? Well maybe we will find out next week.

Annalise: Annalise becomes scared for the first time. Well, maybe not the first time. She was definitely afraid to leave Sam because she didn't want to be alone. That's why she protected him. Now, we see her losing control, and she doesn't have a plan this time. This was scary to watch because it's almost like there is no clear plan. I am nervous, I need Annalise to gain control again.

Thoughts: This was awesome because we see that EVERYONE is getting a piece of the action in this murder. We have Bonnie and Asher running away from the scene together as well as Nate and the Keatoning four(lets be honest, Asher doesn't even count yet. He has no idea about Sam). There are only 2 key people who haven't show their relevance in this murder: Frank and the Hapstall sister. It's clear that Frank has to have some involvement, but where are they?
Next week should be awesome!
